1. What PartyPop provides
PartyPop creates customised balloon décor and event styling for private, community and corporate celebrations. Services include balloon garlands, arches, organic balloon installations, backdrop styling, custom colour palettes, selected printing and styling add-ons, venue setup and, where stated, breakdown. Equipment is also available to hire separately, subject to availability.
2. Essential Package: R1,500
Designed for smaller celebrations. The fixed base package includes a small balloon garland, a coordinated palette of two or three colours, and setup. A 50% deposit of R750 is due when booking. Any special request outside the listed inclusions is confirmed and quoted separately.
3. Signature Package: R2,800
Designed for celebrations that need a little extra impact. The fixed base package includes a 1.5 metre balloon garland, backdrop styling, a custom colour palette and setup. Customers can submit a backdrop preference and choose included package options during booking. The options listed in the Signature booking form are included in the package price. PartyPop will confirm the selections and availability before finalising the booking. A 50% deposit of R1,400 is due when booking. Requests outside the listed package options are quoted separately and supplied only after the customer approves the quote.
4. Luxe Package: R4,500
Designed for clients wanting a statement setup. The fixed base package includes a large balloon installation, backdrop and styling elements, setup and breakdown. Custom design printing and additional add-ons are included when discussed and confirmed as part of the agreed Luxe booking scope. A 50% deposit of R2,250 is due when booking. Any further printing or extras outside that confirmed scope are quoted separately.
5. Custom events
Bespoke designs are available for customers who need a unique theme, colour palette, branded installation, corporate event, wedding or special celebration. PartyPop will prepare a personalised quotation after receiving the event date, venue, concept, dimensions, budget and styling requirements.
6. Hiring items
One-day DIY hire prices are board: R350; gold square arch: R350; individual plinths of every size: R250 each; white fluffy mat: R80; up to six candy jars, hired separately at R20 per jar; candy cart: R600; Moana circle banner: R500; pink, purple and pastel Carnival banner: R500. All listed hire items can be booked online for an available date. Plinths are selected individually by size, with one large, one medium and one small available at R250 each. Candy jars are selected by quantity at R20 each, with six available in total. Each other listed item has one available per day. Customers booking online complete the hiring details and choose free collection from Welcome Estate, Athlone, Cape Town or delivery calculated at R9.50 per kilometre using the one-way driving route from PartyPop’s confirmed dispatch point in Welcome Estate, Athlone, Cape Town to the supplied delivery address. The customer checks the matched address and accepts the fee before payment. Delivery is added to the order total and 50% deposit and is excluded from discount-code savings. If the address or route cannot be verified, the customer must correct the address, choose collection or contact PartyPop before paying. The remaining balance is due before fulfilment. Loss or damage may result in a reasonable repair or replacement charge.
7. Events we style
PartyPop caters for birthdays, baby showers, bridal showers, weddings, gender reveals, engagements, product launches, corporate events, school and community events, milestone celebrations and other custom occasions.
8. Booking process
The customer chooses a package or hiring item and follows the step-by-step form. For package bookings, the customer selects a date and time from the availability calendar and provides the celebration, style, location, contact details and any package-specific requests. For equipment hire, the customer provides the hire details and chooses collection or delivery. The order is reviewed before checkout and a 50% deposit is paid online. The selected date may be held temporarily while payment is completed. After successful payment, the order is saved and an invoice and payment confirmation are sent. A PartyPop owner then reviews and confirms the booking directly.
9. Delivery, setup and service area
Package services are delivered through scheduled transport and on-site setup at the agreed venue in Cape Town or surrounding areas. Setup and breakdown are included only where stated in the package or quotation. Equipment may be collected free from Welcome Estate, Athlone, Cape Town, or delivered at R9.50 per kilometre using the one-way driving route from PartyPop’s confirmed dispatch point in Welcome Estate, Athlone, Cape Town to the customer’s delivery address. The calculated distance and fee are shown and accepted at checkout; the fee is included in the order total and 50% deposit. If a route cannot be verified, the customer must correct the address, choose collection or contact PartyPop before paying. Full details appear in the Delivery & Collection Policy. PartyPop does not provide standard courier shipping or international export services.
10. Prices, payment and currency
All prices are in South African rand (ZAR). Essential, Signature and Luxe have fixed base prices of R1,500, R2,800 and R4,500. For standalone equipment hire, delivery, if requested, is calculated at R9.50 per kilometre using the one-way driving route from PartyPop’s confirmed dispatch point in Welcome Estate, Athlone, Cape Town. The customer checks the matched delivery address and accepts the displayed fee before payment. The order total and 50% deposit include this delivery fee. Discount codes exclude delivery. Collection is free. Options listed in the Signature booking form are included in its package price, subject to PartyPop confirming the selections and availability. Special requests outside the listed package inclusions are quoted separately and supplied only after the customer approves the quote. A 50% deposit is paid online through PayFast when the order is submitted. The automatic invoice and payment email confirm receipt of the order and deposit; final booking confirmation is provided directly by a PartyPop owner. For packages and custom setups, the remaining 50% is payable once setup is complete. For standalone equipment hire, the remaining balance must be paid before collection or delivery.
11. Custom nature and visual variations
Balloon decor is handmade and customised. Balloon shades, sizes and finishes may vary slightly from photographs, samples or screen colours. Website and portfolio images are illustrative examples. PartyPop will follow the agreed design direction but may make reasonable substitutions if a material becomes unavailable.
12. Cancellations, returns and refunds
A customer may cancel an advance booking by giving written notice. PartyPop may apply a reasonable cancellation charge based on the nature of the order, the notice given, the possibility of filling the date and non-recoverable custom materials, printing, supplier, travel and preparation costs. Any amount paid above that reasonable charge will be refunded. Custom installations and personalised décor cannot ordinarily be returned after delivery or setup, without limiting rights that cannot legally be excluded.
